This 1-1/2- to 2-minute custom-made video features you, the author, describing the highlights of your book and illustrating for customers why they should buy it:
- Filmed at a mutually agreed upon location by video production veterans*
- High-definition video: four hours of shooting, to include**:
- Set-up
- Interview prep
- Author interview
- Supplemental video of author in natural surroundings (four set-ups)
- Equipment striking
- Professional lighting and audio
- Video editing
- Royalty-free music
- 2-D graphics
- Digital mastering for web streaming capability and high-quality video downloads
*Professional paid talent and/or location permits are additional.
**Additional on-location shooting after four hours will be billed at $200/hour.
BY CLICKING "ADD TO CART" AUTHOR AGREES TO THE TERMS AS OUTLINED IN PRODUCT DETAILS BELOW AND GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
. AUTHOR'S FEE | The Author agrees to pay Dorrance the sum of $4,449 in consideration of this Agreement. The Author understands that Dorrance makes no contribution to the cost of Production. |
II. PRODUCTION SCHEDULE | Dorrance agrees to have completed the Production within sixty (60) days after execution of this contract by Dorrance unless prevented by delays by labor or by the Author, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond its control. Delivery of the Production will be considered to have taken place when the Production is uploaded by Dorrance to a server capable of providing display of the Production via the Internet and/or providing the author access to an electronic file of the Production via electronic transmission, email, upload, or via electronic media such as a CD, DVD, flash drive or other media. |
III. PRODUCTION SPECIFICATIONS | Except for the specifics presented below, the Author agrees that the design, content, and style of the Production will be entirely at the discretion of Dorrance. Dorrance agrees to prepare the Production according to the following specifications: Completed Production to be 90 seconds to 120 seconds in length. Content of Production features author describing the book and illustrating why it should be purchased Taping to be at a mutually agreed upon location by author and Dorrance Taping will be no longer than four hours and will include: Set-up Interview prep Author interview Supplemental video of author in natural surroundings (four set-ups) Equipment striking Completed Production will contain royalty-free music selections Completed Production will contain 2-D graphics Completed Production is intended for viewing on a typical Internet website and is optimized for viewing at a resolution of 480 pixels x 240 pixels and is usually rendered as an MP4 file. Author acknowledges that professional paid talent and/or location permits are additional and additional on-location shooting after four hours will be billed at $200/hour |
IV. PRODUCTION DISTRIBUTION | Upon completion of the Production, Dorrance agrees to post the Production to: YouTube.com |
VI. CHANGE OF ADDRESS | The address of the Author is as indicated in this Agreement. All letters, communications, and notices sent to the Author to the address so indicated shall be deemed good and sufficient, unless the Author shall have notified Dorrance, in writing, by certified or registered mail, of change of address. |
